Erick earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Utah after completing his undergraduate degree in Health Sciences at Portland State University. While at Portland State, he also worked in strength and conditioning with the university’s athletic teams, gaining valuable experience with athletes, exercise, performance, and return to activity.
Erick’s clinical interests include orthopedic and spine conditions, sports rehabilitation, and neurologic rehabilitation, with a particular interest in vestibular conditions. He enjoys the problem-solving aspect of physical therapy and finds a lot of satisfaction in helping patients understand what is contributing to their symptoms, make meaningful progress, and return to the activities that matter most to them. He continues to further his training in Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (MDT) under Nick’s mentorship.
Originally from Mexico City and raised in Salt Lake City, Erick is fluent in both English and Spanish. Outside of the clinic, he enjoys weightlifting, running, golfing, watching sports, and spending time with friends, family, and his dog.
