At Nick Rinard Physical Therapy we work with, and accept, most major health insurances including workman’s comp, car accidents, and private insurance. Our MDT Physical Therapists and staff also understand that insurance can be confusing, and that every health plan is different. That is why we work with you to collect your insurance information prior to your first visit, and have our Billing Office personally check on your Physical Therapy benefits before you are seen.In most cases, our Billing Office can let you know in 1-2 business days exactly what your insurance will look like. We are always happy to check your insurance, and this service is FREE, so please do not hesitate to call and ask.If you are a patient who is seeking care without insurance, we offer a pay at time of service rate that is a significant discount. 1. Most major commercial insurance companies*
Treatment for your Physical Therapy at Nick Rinard Physical Therapy may be covered by your insurance company, and Nick Rinard Physical Therapy (formerly Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy of Portland, PC) has worked with most major commercial insurance companies*. Individual coverage amounts vary according to the plan.Medical Insurance Plans can be complicated to read. 2. Motor Vehicle Accidents
If you were involved in a Motor Vehicle Accident, then your car insurance carrier will usually pay for the treatment as long as you have an open claim under Personal Injury Protection (PIP) benefits.
3. Workers’ Compensation Insurance
If you were injured at work, then Workers’ Compensation Insurance is the responsible party. You will need to open a case.
4. Payment at the Time of Service
If you do not have insurance coverage, or you choose to pay out-of pocket, we offer a very affordable and discounted Payment at the Time of Service rate.
